• New Thing Learned for 27 March: The button in the upper-right corner of a GraphicConverter X window-header summons and dismisses a menu bar with brightness and contrast sliders, as I discovered when I let Mum on the computer to color-correct some photos and found the mysterious toolbar hanging about afterwards. Once again, I was supposed to be done with the knitting-guild newsletter by now, and once again, I haven't started yet. My excuse this time is that while I'd known all along that Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty well shot due to prior committments and therefore I needed to get up Thursday and set right to work, Angry!colon had other plans for Thursday that didn't involve sitting at the computer... Now considering just going to bed and getting a fresh start on it in the morning. Bah.
