Eh, so what if it's already Saturday morning:
1. Have you ever had braces? Any other teeth trauma?
Braces from 13 to 17, which were ultimately responsible for later strings of teeth trauma because they ended up wrecking both my lower first-molars (the bands let cavities develop undetected in the sides, where fillings just don't last). One of these, in fact, is the filling I lost a few months back and still haven't had the $$ to fix. My teeth came in very late and hit the jackpot of both parents' cumulative heritage of screwed-up dentition, so the braces weren't merely cosmetic...
2. Ever broken any bones?
3. Ever had stitches?
4. What are the stories behind some of your [physical] scars?
All sort of the same answer: although I bang myself around a surprising lot, to the extent that I'm always finding bruises I can't remember dealing myself (and I don't think I bruise easily, I simply run into things at speed often enough that I don't make particular note of it), I have never broken anything or actually required stitches, although I had a close call a few years ago when I put my hand through the glass panel of my father's front door and probably ought to have had a couple of stitches. And so I have no scars beyond some fading chickenpox marks here and there, which is remarkable now I think about it. There was a little bump on my knuckle for a while after the hand-through-the-window incident, but I don't even see that any longer. Which I suppose is fortunate, considering...
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Same as usual -- library run, groceries, those sort of "I have no life" details. Although if someone wants to take me away from all this and sweep me off to the French Riviera, I wouldn't object. :)
I think I'll leave the "guess my age poll" open a while longer before discussing the results properly, since I was up all night with the damn NeoCrack Kids again... {sigh} Somebody come peel me away from this thing, wouldja?
