So, um, if Aahnold truly believes that in America it doesn't matter who your family was, are we going to see him booting his own kids out of their well-feathered nest on their eighteenth birthdays to make their own way in the world, unaided by the drawing power of who their mummy and daddy are?

wicked_wish I made a key-lime pie. Kitchen rather, umm, destroyed, but other than that the results RE the pie itself were pleasing enough; there's enough key-lime juice left for three more pies, so once the kitchen has some time to recover from the trauma I expect I'll soon get around to going through the rest of the bottle.
The other accomplishment of the evening: finally pushed past endurance by the hair-ends getting in my eyes, I took the embroidery scissors to my bangs. Results not quite so pleasing as the pie, but crudely efficient.
