- New Thing Learned for 25 January: NASCAR racing evolved from the souped-up cars used to evade federal tax agents in the glory days of moonshine running during Prohibition. - New Thing Learned for 26 January: Although located 50 miles from the coast, Houston is the busiest international seaport in the United States. It's kind of embarassing that I knew the $50k question (Boeing has the largest business building by volume) and not this $4k one. [Source: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?]
Spent most of the day avoiding working on knitting newsletter by organizing stash instead, but as I've now run out of yarn to recategorize I suppose I'll have to give in and start on it.
