So it appears that the general consensus is "a yellow, polka-dot bikini" -- also the interpretation given by the ad in question -- which is interesting because I've always parsed it as "a yellow-polka-dot bikini", as do 17.6% of the rest of you. I suppose one could take this as an object lesson in never taking for granted what the other person's hearing.
I've got the eBaying-of-yarn down to a routine now, if the relatively painless listing experience yesterday means anything. Now if I can just get the last couple kinks with the photography worked out, I might be getting somewhere. (Half the battle, as always, is keeping the cat from coming along in the middle and sitting on the nice black background drape with her strategically placed white bits.) So far my best customer is in Sheffield, which is amusingly globalizationy but always makes me want to do violence to the post office's excuse for a rate calculator.
