...Crap, they could have said that installing iTunes 9 was going to require updating Safari anyway. Keep your fingers crossed that this isn't going to aggravate Irritable Ethernet Connection again... {sigh}

Yay, internet connection appears not to have been killed by Safari. I am already rather pissed off at it, but that's another matter...


Also, Girlybits appear to be doing That Thing again. Same presentation and relative timing as before, so I'm leaning further towards "natural variation in aging systems", but I really ought to drag myself in to have that looked at... {sigh}



[EDIT, half an hour later: Have managed to turn off the handholding features that were most immediately pissing me off, and feel marginally better about it all now. Several important bits still appear to have been hard-coded into inconveniently different places and the new header looks like ass, but I believe I am now at a point where I can at least ignore this. {wanders off mumbling about lawns...}]

There may be such a thing as 'too far', but have we reached it?
