I noticed during the Olympics that Inner Trevor, despite his natural reluctance to observe any sort of hat honour, does still have a reflexive Edwardian instinct to stand to attention when he hears 'God Save the Queen'.

Today, watching bits of the inaugural parade, I discovered that this also applies to marching bands that are actually playing 'My Country, 'Tis of Thee'.

Inner Jason is trying very hard to be gracious about it.
