Day 6 of events: Still no needle. I managed to work six or seven more rows after these photos were taken at the beginning of Friday, but the cumulative weight of the piece on the too-short needle is threatening an RSI, so I've had to put it aside until I can get proper equipment, which means, at this point, that I'm most likely out of the competition as such. Crap. Will still try to finish the jacket for use this coming spring, anyway. Meanwhile, admire the pocket assembly, which I think came off quite well.



Among the various aches all this knitting has triggered is a nervous tic in my left ear. I can't begin to imagine how this actually works, but it's a very disturbing sensation.
