Fun with DSL, installment #12: had a failure-to-connect issue all night last night that seems to have been resolved just now by the tech-support's line-autocheck routine as I was on the phone wading through to the human. I suspect sometimes that it just needs the metaphorical lint blown out of the hose...
The bathroom ceiling has just begun another desultory drip, after a frightening episode late Friday night that was apparently triggered by Maintainance screwing around with something upstairs. I went up to see what was transpiring and managed to have him get a good look at the precise nature of our own Issue; however, said Maintainance guy didn't exactly have a firm enough grasp of English to give me a clear idea of when, if ever, he thinks he may have to come in to attack the problem from this side. I really need a shower, dammit, and I don't want either the ceiling or the maintainance guy crashing in on me.
Also, if anyone's looking for a business idea out there, could someone please invent a cat with a transparent head? {pointed look at Snip}
And, somewhat related to the above complaint, I see that the DSL's back up in time to glory in the fact that Weasel is today's Kittenbreak centerfold... Mum will be so proud.
