agentxpndble for Day 0 of the WisCon Experience. "Won" the writer's workshop, or at any rate had the best positive-to-negative remarks ratio; basically mostly need to flea-dip for semicolons again and consider swapping parts of the info of page 3 with page 1, and I should be within striking distance...
Also, must address fact that 2 of 4 readers somehow began w/ impression that my narrator was a woman. This is kind of important, I think. :) But as this falls under "flea-dip for semicolons", above (I admit he does get verbose), it's readily fixable.
Bus trip was reasonable enough, as bus trips go, although we did have to switch buses (in the middle of a downpour, no less) when someone got the bright idea to consolidate two half-loaded Madison-bound buses that happened to be arriving in Janesville at roughly the same time. Still glad of having a ride-home lined up, though. ;)
