(I do mean to post at some length about my weekend in the wilds of rural Wisconsin, but I came back with a cold, so I think I'll spare us all the horrors of a drunk-post under the influence of Dayquil for now, and simply note that the running tally shows that I really fell down on the job with the media consuming in September for some reason, adding only 8 books and 1 film to the total. Not sure what happened there, besides a lot of half-read anthologies.)
