Tooth situation remains guardedly stable, although I did decide to go ahead and switch the appointment to Monday on the theory that I'd be marginally more entertaining at Tuesday's SF meetup if I were whacked out on the Good Drugs as opposed to sunk in misery and disinclined to speak. Looking out the window, though, I'm beginning to wonder if my dentist's flight home will have made it in by Monday, not to mention how I'm going to get over there and back in this kind of weather. Ah, the joys of Chicago winters. But at least the visible proof that this is indeed supposed to be a cold-winter climate-zone did spur me to caulk up the gap between the front-door threshold and the floor yesterday, which is something I've been putting off since before we actually moved in, so that's something checked off the alleged to-do list, anyhow. Pity I seem to have mistakenly thrown the bag of rock salt out with the trash, or I could go do the back steps and feel like I've really gotten something done the last day or so...
