Midlife Crisis of Doom 2007 went well, and I'm considering holding a rain-date event sometime in April for those of y'all who couldn't make it, so speak up if you're interested...

I decided that based on reaction data from MCoD2007 the hair wasn't quite as alarming as I'd had in mind for it to be, so some adjustments have now been made --

Still a little haphazard, and may end up getting a more thorough going-over with the remainder of the blue depending on how quickly it fades, but for now I do like the streaky bit right in the front. (Does show up how badly it needs a trim, though, and I may have Mum take the scissors to the back when we get a chance.)

BTW, seeing as we're going to be left wondering about it until 200frakking8, I think I'll set down a few thoughts on the BSG finale here for the record, so I might have a prayer of remembering what my argument was going to be by then:

Okay, is it just me, or did it seem that possibly the Chief was jumping to conclusions about the cylon thing? (...Again, I might point out?) It seemed vague, perhaps deliberately so, as to whether they'd received the certain knowledge that they were cylons, or were merely assuming that that must be the case because they were all picking up on the same signal. Don't three of them have provenance going back before the skinjobs were developed, Tigh especially?

And as to the signal itself, why the hell would Radio Cylon be broadcasting Dylan covers? Hmm, interesting that this signal didn't start until Kara Thrace (and her Special Destiny cover-band) disappeared, and now here she is fresh from a tour Earthside...

Speaking of Earth, two things: must be roughly contemporary (or earlier), considering that Florida in particular had a recognizable coastline; and is anybody else out there suffering from violent flashbacks to Galactica 1980 right about now? If Cousin Oliver shows up, I'm outta here...
