Computer Scare #XVIII: "Okay, why does the monitor seem to be stone dead?" Fortunately in this case, the answer turned out to be "Because that noise last night was the Evil Genius unplugging the big cord from the little cord" (yes, Snip's jealousy of Gaius has reached new and worryingly intelligent heights), but man, I am so not in the mood for this sort of thing -- well, ever, really, but especially not when I'm trying to dip in for a quick email check before I settle in to wait for Microwave Repair Man... {sigh}
