Hm, well, I'll bite: actually I can't stand scary movies, because I'm far, far too suggestible, so it may come as some surprise that one of my favorite movies, period, is Aliens, because it apparently sneaks under my radar by flashing its SF creds. This probably says something important about the way my brain works, but so far I haven't managed to figure out what it is.
