Through careful experimentation, I have discovered three sure-fire ways to get items to sell on etsy:

* Store the stuff in such a manner that it's a PITA to get into it.

* Run out of something crucial to your packaging and/or shipping process. (This works well to drum up sales on a carless Monday, especially when it's cold out.)

* Go to the post office with another batch of outgoing shipping. Bonus points if you know that the self-serve kiosk at said PO has just run out of labels because it had two left when you had three packages to ship...

Not that I'm really complaining, 'cause, y'know, this means I have sales and all, but it's been an interesting week for it, is all I can say. And I just know business is going to dry up again once I get around to sorting the duvet cover that's currently parked itself on the box of inventory...
