First-World Problem of the Day is that the toilet had some sort of a funny turn in the wee hours and is now refusing to shut off from dribbling down its outflow pipe after filling the tank. Jiggled the first two things that the internets suggested to jiggle, with no resolution, so it's most likely door #3, "replace [$THIS_BIT]". Until we can scare up someone who actually knows what a new [$THIS_BIT] looks like that's appropriate for our model and how to swap out the part without incurring fatalities, the workaround is to switch the water on and off at the valve as needed, which is going to be tedious but still much preferable to letting the damn thing leak and eventually wear out the sump-pump. {sigh} Just a good thing I noticed it before I went to bed or something...
