Another fun weekend spent at Kinko's making copies of various agents' required materials, and another Monday morning run to the post office for Mum; what's currently out in the world, now that we're into the batch-mode phase, are one "just a query letter", one "first 10 pages and synopsis", and one "first three chapters and synopsis", as well as another try at going directly to a publisher just for the sake of variety, since they're also a "first three chapters and synopsis" and I've heard their slushpile is about 4 months deep at the moment so what the hell. I ought to be getting back to the Prequel now that the synopsis is at least temporarily settled for the next little while, but I seem instead to have spent the afternoon knitting test swatches for a felted-mittens project I've been thinking of doing. Bad Muse, no cracker.
