Out of a sense of bloodyminded completism, I've gone back and switched the user pics on my election-related posts to the "Eeyore" icon I came up with about halfway through the season. Some of the entries hold up surprisingly well despite the ultimate outcome, so if you haven't been reading along from the beginning, do consider having a look back.
Otherwise well into winter "Meh" season. What energy I have had has been spent in trying to get on the outside of the Surplus-To-Requirements Yarn Pile; I've made some appreciable headway with the unexpected load of blue mohair, and may even be able to get the lid back onto the bin in another few days at this rate.
(BTW: Does anyone know where I might be able to get one of these light-up umbrellas or close facsimile of same locally, or am I going to have to order it? I have an idea for next Halloween and this would be absolutely perfect for it...)
