...Oh, my word, and then book 4 does a few more laps around the Uncanny Valley of Skeeve before it takes a running leap straight for the Campy Soap-Opera Crack. (I'm past "demonbabby" and "imprinting" and heading into "making her tell her Dad"...) I mean, even forewarned this is... a... IDEK, man, IJDEK, I'm so confused at this point Idunno what a summation of this Reading Experience is even going to look like or if my brain is going to leak out of my ears if I try to type it up coherently.

And mostly I'm reeeeally wondering right about now what could have happened to the writer that this is how she's processing the experience, because I think it would be harder to write something that screamed somebody has Issues more loudly if you tried...
