19.) What’s your character’s preferred means of travel?

Jason seems to end up bumming rides off of people often enough that one suspects the bus isn't really his first choice; he's realistic enough about his present situation to recognize that car ownership is pretty far down on his list of priorities, not least because he'd have nowhere to park anyway, but a few more winters and he might just crack.

Trevor does know how to drive, if he were allowed to, but he likes to walk; something in the back of his Edwardian head still insists that all this newfangled speed is unnatural and frankly not quite safe. He considers public transport a reasonable compromise when he's in a hurry or it's ugly out, though.




(Notice how I am valiantly not making the obvious joke about all the times I've managed to nearly beat the bus home on foot myself, there. Including the other night when I went out of my way to take the L instead because at least there's a heater to wait under.)
